Immersion Assembly

Today is the first day of term 2 and Pt England School normally does at the beginning of the term so what they do is they have assembly’s at the beginning of the term.All of the teachers had a slide each to perform in front of the whole school of what we are going to learn and do this term.

First team was team 1 and they did a slide of their favourite things like,chocolate,cats,dogs and they asked some questions about what we saw on the slide and if you get it right you get a chocolate from the teacher.

Second was Team 2 and they did Seasons and did a slideshow of them at the beach and also playing with flowers when the slide finished they came out in front and spoke about the seasons and how much they love and care about the seasons.

Third it was Team 3 and this term they will be doing art and make their own piece of artwork and I think it will be shown in front of the whole school and people are going to be happy.

Finally my favourite one is Team4 because they are making comic books and it showed a really cool slide it made everybody laugh because the group was called teacher venges because they were super heroes and they were saving their friends from the evil wolf Baxindine the teacher venges defeated the evil wolf and set their friends free they so happy to see their friends come save the day.

Team5 was interesting because their were very funny because they were having a race and Mrs Tele’a was holding Mrs Garden back and accidently whacked Mrs Garden with her fan up her nose and Mrs Garden(Hokulea) everybody was laughing because it was really really funny beginning of the term.All of the teachers had a slide each to perform in front of the whole school of what we are going to learn and do this term.

The assembly was nearly over we finished off with Mrs Noah telling us what the house colours meant.

Boys 2 Men Brainstorm And poster

While the yr 8 are gone to camp the yr 7 were watching a movie called boys 2 men and after we watched one half of the movie we did an activity and after lunch today we are going to watch the other half of the movie and do another activity.

This is the poster that we had to make on pi zap to go with our story we also had to make it look creative I made it look creative by putting some decorations and added a font to the letters.

 

Titainium Story

I was at school this morning we were working on our class project,making our own instrument.I didn't want to so my eyes closed shut.While I was sleeping I heard banging.A few minutes later it went silent I woke up and I was in the hallway I felt scared and worried at the same time because there was a big mess it’s like the whole school was trashed.

I quietly stood up and walked past the teacher talking on  the phone to the police telling him to arrest me so I walked as fast as I could just to get to the door when he finally got out he quickly put his Benny on so nobody thinks or knows that it is me so while the teacher is speaking to the policemen I went and got a bike that was waiting to be rid on so I took it and rode as fast as I could as I went around the corner I never stopped no matter what because I knew that they were following me. When I got home I ran in and got my stuff and ran away through the back door and ran into the forest and ran for my life when I thought they couldn't find me I stopped and suddenly I got caught and they took me and I didn't know where I was they locked me away forever.

Recount of Aspiration Speakers

Yesterday at Pt England School in the senior block in the street Aspiration speakers came in to talk about  Aspiration, Inspiration and Motivation there names were Arizona and Kenese.

The most important things about kenese’s talk are to always choose the right path and making sure that you are safe at home with no violence to cause any trouble.

The most important things about Arizona’s talk was about when she was our age she she studied hard to get the job she wanted. She went to university.here are some of the jobs she got to do was work at famous singers and rappers concerts.

What I would learn from Kenese's talk is: If you see a gang of people don’t try and be like them and act all tough because you're not just be yourself and follow the rules.

What I would learn from Arizona's talk is to:Whatever you wanted to be. The best thing to do is speak out loud and don’t be shy.To always open your mouth when someone is asking you a serious question.

These questions are important because it’s important for us to learn because it helps us to do the right things when we grow up and also to choose the right path and it also makes things easier to understand what people are talking about.

Fiafia

In the last 6 weeks Pt England School school has been practising hard for Fiafia on Thursday. My group the Fiafia  group has been practising after schools and sometimes during lunchtime I really am excited and nervous at the same time.For our uniform we are wearing is a blue lava lava and a hula white skirt.During practise Mrs lavakula and Mrs Langitupu are always going to play the song over and over again if we get it wrong if people miss a dance move we have to start the whole thing again it was quite fun.Today is going to be a practise run through we are going to perform in front of the whole school on the field and tomorrow we are going to perform in front of the whole school and some other people there will also be food stalls opening at 4:30 pm. My groups changing room is in room 4 I hope I fun fun doing this for the first time because it is my first year at Pt England school. We will do great because we have been practising for nearly 6 or 7 weeks I hope everyone enjoys our performance.GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!

I did hip hop on Fiafia night to the song "The Sound of Sunshine". It was fun dancing on the stage so our whanau could see us. I liked our dance. By Zane.
