Perspectives and Opinions

in this presentation we read a article about Tongas game and how I feel about Tonga and the articles that ive read.

Tonga vs England

During their success I have enjoyed seeing smiles on peoples faces and the joy they have seeing their country play against other countries.

I have also enjoyed hearing people all over G.I screaming and clapping for Tonga, hearing people cheer as loud as they can makes other people laugh and cry tears of joy.

I’ve learnt that people are serious when it comes to games like this, especially when there’s heaps to family members and friends that support their culture.

I’ve also learnt that being part of a culture means having pride for your country and leading with strength and love and supporting others.

This has helped me as a young person to always take care of the people that I am loved from and the people thats around me, Its made me feel confident and proud to know that where I come from is where I belong and who I represent.

It has also helped me as a young person to be a role model for my little siblings and also making my family proud.

Tonga and England had a very tough game but everyone knew whoever wins on losses were all champions and we never give up!

Music, Emotions & Colours

This term we have been learning about music, the 6 different emotions and colours that relates to the different emotions. My buddy and I were struggling while finding the songs that we thought would suit the word. During this task I learnt that different music and sounds that other people play including myself, leads up to how I feel.

A day full of Athletics

On Friday last week Pt England had athletics, Pt England had to wear their house colours which made the whole school look like a rainbow, the house colours were green blue yellow and red:
Red- Te aurere
Green- Hokulea
Yellow- Hikianalia
Blue- Hine Moana
Everyone had so much fun including teachers and parents.
Parents, were sitting around cheering for their children but were having as much fun as the students were.

Guest Speaker

This morning we had a special visitor named Mr Patterson.
He came to talk about A + I = M (A - Aspiring) (I - Inspiring) (M - Motivation) (AIM - aim for success) Team 5 learnt alot of new things about our future. Team 5 was so interested in his story that Team 5 was so quiet

Be a giver:  Be a giver means, you do something kind for others,
Being a giver is doing alot of kind and caring things to people and to those who need it. Some people can be givers but not all of them are.

Being a taker: Being a taker is taking things from other people and never giving it back, being a taker is mean, mean for other people causerie they do kind stuff and you take take and take and never give back. Some people can be takers but not all of them are

I learnt alot of things from Mr Patterson he was talking about our future and sharing with us some of his and other people's memories. So make sure your a giver not a taker

Random Facts about important things…..

Staying in school is good for you because there are alot of things that could happen to you, so thats why im here to tell how and why its good to stay in school

Firstly staying in school helps half your brain to learn and the rest of your brain to focus so if you want to be a scholar like me just let your brain do its job and let your fingers work

Secondly is education, education is the most important word to have in your life. You can’t only survive with a heart you have to survive with education too. The definition for education is the process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university. So if you want to get a good job i think you should learn the definition of education and have to put it into action.

Thirdly School, school and school. When I think of a house I think of school. When i think of my siblings I think of school there's so many memories that brings up the word school. School is everything, School is the reason you can read, School is the reason why your writing but it all started from your family. The definition of school is an institution for educating children. So if you want to have a good life you should stay in school.

Lastly is organization, organization is another word for organize, organize is when you get your things prepared for the next day or next event. Another way of being organized is doing the right things when without being told so if you want to be organized for school I suggest to follow these steps.

When you have followed these steps you will find how important random school life is. If you have read it and still don’t get it then your eyes are not good enough.

My dream job

My dream Job

Intro: When I grow up I want to become a technician that fixes peoples electronics or a hairdresser that does all sorts of things to peoples hair and make it look better than before

Why?

I want to be a technician because I have had 4 phones so far and they all have a different problem and me as a normal person trying to fix it didn’t work so when I got my very first phone it stopped working and I didn’t know how to fix it after a while my life got boring because I didn’t have my phone. So from years that have gone past i’ve been wanting to be a technician.

Why?

I want to be a hairdresser because every morning I braid my little sisters hair and sometimes my mums, I reckon braiding is something that calms me down after something has happened and because I get alot of good feedback from family members and friends so if I was to become a hairdresser I would stick to being a hairdresser.

Closing: These are my future jobs that I want to become when I grow up but to make this all happen you have to follow alot of rules and their not just ordinary rules their rules that need to be hammered in your brain.

MM - made a song for the whole of Pt England to sing

First Team 1 presented their theme for team 1 to follow throughout the last term of the year. Team 1 performed an item in front of the school, the item was containing team 1’s attention the most because the teachers that participated in the item was the teachers from their block. The teachers were playing snap while the music was playing when the music changes their emotions changed.

Second Team 2 presented their theme for team 2 to follow throughout the last term of the year. Team 2 performed an item in front of the school, the item was containing team 2’s attention the most because the teachers that participated in the item was the teachers from their block. Mrs Gaston was singing a song called in the jungle while playing the guitar while she singing I was getting goosebumps because I don’t know why.

Thirdly Team 3 presented their theme for team 2 to follow throughout the last term of the year. Team 3 performed an item in front of the school, the item was containing team 3’s attention the most the teachers that participated in the item was the teachers from their block. There were 4 teachers singing their favourite songs but they were acting it out.

Fourth Team 4 presented their theme for team 2 to follow throughout the last term of the year. Team 3 performed an item in front of the school, the item was containing team 3’s attention the most because the teachers that participated in the item was the teachers from their block.


Team 5 teachers were presenting there them for team 5, the theme that we are doing for the last term of the year is a mixture of all the other teams theme. Team 5 used popcorn as one of there props

Our theme for the rest of the year has changed way differently but Pt England still has to stick to the theme so....

Musical Madness

My experience

Room 4 was filming this week. Room 4 already knew what was our film was going to be but didn't know what Mrs Judd was planning on how to make it interesting. Mrs Judd told us a few things about the film that made room 4 go wild, but room 4 knew how to keep it to themselves. I won't tell you what our film is called but I will will tell you what I experienced if you know what my film is called then good on you!

My experience:

It was weird when I was given things that I have never seen or eaten before.
It was funny being in the same room with people that I know and comfortable with.
It was scary having to wear blindfolds.
It wasn't scary being with he best teacher of all
Putting things in my mouth and guessing sounds easy but really....
If you ever do this be aware...feel before you taste.
