simple and compound sentences

Walt: Write simple and compound sentences.

Here is some thing I have done in room 4's literacy. One of the thing I had to do was to highlight the subject in red and the verb in blue.So if you like my presentation I have done, please leave a comment on my blog.  

Room 1

This year I am in room 1 with Mr Wiseman. Last year I used to go to Riverina Primary School and now I go to Pt England primary and  intermediate. I am 11 years old and I am a year 7. I am looking on working with new teachers and new classmates I have made lots of new friends and met some teachers.I have enjoyed my first two weeks at school I was in room 3 for a few days  now they  put in room 1. I am in a class mixed year 7 and year 8. The teachers have put me in room 1 for maths but for literacy I am in my home class room 1
