Instructions should have clear, simple steps so you don’t confuse the person reading them.

Can you make these various instructions easier to understand?

Pick up an egg, gently hit it against the side of a bowl and empty the contents into a clean bowl.	Crack an egg against the side of the bowl and put it into a clean bowl
Open the fridge and take out the butter. Take off the lid. Get a knife and use it to scoop some butter. Rub the knife onto the toast.	Butter the toast and get the butter out of the fridge
Hold the two shortest sides of paper and bend them together. Squeeze them so that the paper is now in half.	Hold the two sides and squeeze it and make it in half
When you hear the sound of the whistle, move one leg in front of the other as quickly as you can.	When you hear the whistle repong on time and get there as soon as possible
When player One had rolled the die, they should hand it to player Two, who should then roll it too. The person with the highest score moves their counter first.	If you don’t want player 1 to die then hand it over to 2 and let them roll it to and the first person is the winner
If you want to turn on the computer, look for the round, lack power button and press it once.	If you want to use the computer push the round button at the back of it

Topic 1 - What happens to our bodies when we sleep?

When we sleep for a long time our brain works properly,but when we don’t sleep for a long time then our brain don’t work and we will be very very grumpy to help you stay awake you need to take a warm shower,turn off all electronics and t.v,do something relaxing and reading,drawing in bed.So when we sleep we always dream.

Topic 2 - How much sleep do kids need?

Children usually has to have about 8 or 10 hour sleep so that your brain can work wisely and properly also so that you don’t forget things before something serious happens and you will be very confused of what is happening,it’s happening because you are tired that's why you get enough sleep for your health and for you eyes.

Conclusion:  

You have to go sleep at a certain time and if you go sleep late your brain will not work properly it will refuse to do what you want to do.

Feelings that I felt today

I woke up feeling so happy, excited, nervous, keen. As I got there people were all looking at me and saying”ur gonna loose boy”I felt nervous but I knew they were lying. It was time……… I was scared but I knew I had the confidence. My dad and I had our little private talk seconds, minutes went past slowly . We were done it was my turn to have a go at my race track.I heard laughing, screaming, and talking I said to myself”I know I can make it I just know it I could hear my mum and dad screaming”that's my boy you go son” I felt proud, amazed, overjoyed.I was keen I knew I could make it I closed my eyes as I got to the edge I counted 5……..4………….3………..2………...1……… I jumped goosebumps ran up and down my body, my heart pounded fast,faster than it has ever been it slowed down then I knew it was time to slow down

Hunters

I have told you so many times “If they come back I am going to go and hunt them down”. As I lay and wait for a sign of the things that I say I am going to hunt them down I hear a sound that sounds like someone whistling for attention. I listen once. I listen twice. Black & White

Today is a Dark and clear day for the country. We started it by dressing in clothes that were dark. Sometimes people didn’t do it because they were too scared I wasn’t because my mum was the one who made that day. It was wednesday coming and everyone was scared and excited at the same time.Well I was excited cause my mum was having a baby and the name was going to be clare because cause the following day is going to be wednesday

They are everywhere I go. There on the T.V there on signs and there all over my room. Mum says I love them but I don’t and never will.She says that I used to always cry for it when I was little but I don’t believe her. She said there was this one time when she was sleeping and I jus woke up from my beautiful sleep and my eyes were opened wide.Then I heard a bang on the door. I was so scared that I was crying my loudest until anyone would wake up. Summer(my sister) woke up and came running to me and saw me with raindrops running down my face.She went back to her room and ran back fast, fast like a cheater

Room 1’s manaiakalani movie is a movie when the delivery man’s phone died and he drove off without a gps to help him get to his destination he went to all different places until a girl told him to go that direction and he will find the school.	The shots that mr wiseman did was good because he got some good angles to make the movie more interesting and make people interested in our movie.Th colour of the movie was a normal colour but sort of faded away.	The sound that was part of the movie was a song written by Mr Wiseman	The film took part at the Pt England School Beach and the pools. The props that they used was a wig, glasses, a phone, and 3 boxes.

Literacy Learning

This week at literacy it has been a normal week.At literacy we started off reading a book that Miss Berry read to us last term.We summarised it in our won words, When the book was finished we did some reading and for reading we read about matter and what matter is and here is 6 things i learned while reading the story:
1. Matter can exist in three states, it can be a solid, a liquid, or a gas
2. Air is matter
3. To turn solids into liquids you have to add heat
4. matter is anything around you.objects, animals and anything on earth
5.if u add heat to a solid or liquid or gas they all have different reactions
6.water molecules are made up of two hydrogen atoms stuck to one atom

And I haven't finished just yet I still got one more week to finish of my research in room 4 with miss berry I can't wait till I do more research

Lava story

A long long time ago as if we were in the dinosaurs lived two proud Maunga were deeply in love as if they were ranginui the sky father and papatuanuku the earth mother however maungarei stood tall above the sea as if he was sir Edmund Hillary and Rangitoto below the deep blue sea as if she was earth's core.

It wasn't all happy joy joy because these two lovebirds were separated by liters and liters of pacific ocean and could not see each other as if they were blinded by love maungarei and rangitoto could not see each other but still communicated through song as if they were big blue whales.

Everyday her lava grew by listening to his tune. Rangitoto was ready than ever to meet her man mountain through song karakia and hope Rangitoto blew and rose from the sea but her back was turned to him Maungarei was dormant like that of a inactive volcano until he heard his Queen Latifah sing his song. There was then another eruption like that of the christchurch earthquake and Maungarei was then drawn to the side of his darling like a magnet.(end of song)
